At LoonieBnB, we believe vacationing shouldn’t break the bank or require currency gymnastics. That’s why we created a booking platform that puts Canadians first, offering great vacation rentals that accept Canadian dollars (and even Bitcoin, if you’re into that kind of thing.

We’re a proudly independent site that connects travelers with charming, memorable short-term rentals across Vermont, New York, and beyond, with more destinations being added all the time. Whether you’re escaping for ski season, lake adventures, or fall foliage, LoonieBnB helps you get more vacation for your money.

But it’s not just about bookings we’re here to build a community. We work directly with property owners to simplify their listing process and reduce platform fees. Our goal? Help Travelers save, help owners earn, and make everyone feel just a little more “loonie” (in the
best way possible).

Founding Investor Spotlight: Tommy’s Lemonade Stand

Location: Prime corner of Depot & Main — right between the busted bike rack and that one squirrel that judges you.

They say every great empire starts with humble beginnings. For us, it was Tommy, a 9-year-old entrepreneur with sticky fingers (from sugar syrup) and a vision: to serve lukewarm lemonade with a side of attitude. Armed with a folding table, a half-empty jug, and suspiciously unwashed Solo cups, Tommy reinvested his entire summer profits — $8.73 and a Canadian quarter — into helping us launch LoonieBnB.

When asked why he invested, Tommy replied:

“Because I believe in disruptive lodging solutions… and because my mom said I couldn’t buy more Pokémon cards.”

Thanks to Tommy, we now offer discounted stays and questionable financial advice to travelers near and far.
